I didn’t want to wait years to afford land.

I wanted to start living differently, because I felt the urgency.

So I started building my cabin in my driveway, 4 months before I found land to lease! The landowner turned out to be a random estate agent, with whom I made an appointment, and he turned out to be the right man to ask!!!!!

So I learned how to access land creatively — without massive capital, debt, or pressure. Everything fell into place because I knew instinctively what I wanted to do, and the questions to ask.

I've been living off-grid for the past 2,5 years, and I started with a phase 1 .... & added two more phases to my cabin living spaces as time & finances allowed, to become the home I love and live in.

Outside spaces were developed, vegetables, a little plunge pool in my patio deck, and the geese and quails have their own secure digs outside, to be safe from predators at night too. And... my landlord loves what I've done with a neglected corner of his property.
